The purpose of Worship Commission is to promote programs of education, liturgy planning, celebration and evaluation to help develop the liturgical life of the
parish. This commission sees that liturgical ministers are properly trained and that diocesan guidelines are properly followed. Worship is responsible for the following
ministries: Liturgy Planning, Musicians, Lectors, Cantors, Altar Servers, Choir, Ministers of Hospitality, Art & Environment, Extraordinary Ministers, Devotion Ministry
and church interior and meditation garden upkeep.
Altar Servers
Boys and girls, fourth grade and above, assist the priest and deacon at mass. This is a great way to be involved at an early age and learn more about the liturgy. May be asked to also serve at other liturgies, weddings, funerals and baptisms. Training provided.
Art & Environment
Pat Engelhardt
Volunteers who are skilled in art, flower arrangement, sewing, carpentry, quilting, etc. are needed to help
design and decorate our church to enhance our liturgies. This also includes set-up and take-down of decorations
and/or care of flowers and plants. This group also takes care of Gairdín Mhuire - the meditation garden.
Devotion Ministry
Terri Jennings & Kathy Vonhoff
This ministry sponsors Eucharistic Adoration, Divine Mercy and Rosary devotions. Participants are needed to help organize and facilitate devotion hours. Current
schedule has volunteers leading either the rosary or Divine Mercy chaplet before each mass. Eucharistic Adoration is held Mon - Fri from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Participants who can commit themselves to one hour weekly are needed to join the current group so that we may expand the hours of adoration.

audible speaking voice. Training provided.
Ministers of Hospitality
Dan Sucich
Adults and teens welcome all who come to celebrate the Mass. Teens need the permission of their parents to serve in this ministry. They assist in seating people, tend
to people with special needs if necessary, and tidy up the church after Mass. This is a special ministry as these
people may offer the only contact many parishioners have in our faith community. Training is provided.
